Employees of a Swiss bank have developed numerous individual solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. However, a central overview is lacking. Shared content is used across teams and departments, but there is no consolidated administration. The dependencies and relevance of these solutions are also unknown, and there is no ensured maintenance, further development, or patching of shared applications. Additionally, there is no established process for informing employees about service changes introduced by Microsoft, and employee enablement could be improved. This situation leads to a high number of service tickets submitted to the central IT support. In summary, a general framework is required to effectively govern the handling of Power Platform developments.
